Stereo matching method of distribution box hole image based on improved AD-Census algorithm

Abstract In mountain tunnels’ mechanical and electrical engineering, it is necessary to carry out cable distribution plates. To ensure the accuracy of plate, essential measure distance between box hole tunnel mouth size hole. Stereo matching a crucial step in using binocular vision for measurement, quality effect directly affects measurement following steps. This study focuses on studies stereo-matching algorithm images. AD-Census, semi-global algorithm, selected as main this paper, experiment carried out. According stereo matching, AD-Census improved, MSD-Census fused with edge information proposed obtain better disparity information, which lays foundation subsequent holes.
